Well hello there

From the Sheraton in Lagos where we are having high level political talks. Obviously not me as I'm just the little PA, sitting here, looking nice, drinking my chapman.

Yesterday was an eventful day, with the full Lagos experience - incredible. Taking a huge amount of pics as well. Anyways my boss is waiting for me so I'll finish this!

Yesterday at the High Commission

I (nice, timid, angelic me) jumped a queue of (big, scary, loud) Nigerians.


Haha... maybe I'm worried about nothing and they should add a public health warning to my visit to Lagos instead...

Successfully completed the visa run today. Now my passport comes complete with a shiny new Nigerian visa - really pretentious, we love it.

One of my very worried friends did some background checks for me (thanks babe) and has said that all his friends said my contacts down there checked out so he will stop fussing now.

Am still worried about going but also had some time to myself while on the train to London today, which helped. Sorted out airport lifts and will borrow a camera - still haven't decided on buying one as I really want to get a good one for my charity work as well but can't stomach that sort of expense right now.

Am almost fully packed. One last thing to get is, out of all things, hairpins...
